The Spring Joy poster was roughly inspired by the Art Nouveau style, in combination with the Fox Theater's Art Deco architecture. The main illustration is of a woman who is roughly inspired by the interpretation of Pomona, in the city's mural, "Pomona Envisioning the Future".
In the Surrealist Calendar project, we needed to depict a month for a surreal calendar theme. I chose November, and chose Dia De Los Muertos as a main holiday, mainly for its themes of death and remembrance that remind me a lot of fall.

The Theater Poster project required us to create a poster for a play, I chose Frankenstein. I chose to depict the creature in the story as more emotional and vague in his expression, whether in pain, anger or fear. The type was hand done with some modifications to the main title.
